Messy UU Church, January 19th, 5:00-7:30pm

Come join us for Messy UU Church this Friday, Jan. 19th, from 5-7:30 pm at the Unitarian Fellowship. We’ll explore the theme of transcendence through chant, dance, singing bowls, mandala colouring and noodle painting, and enjoy a scrumptious vegetarian meal. We’ll also have some fun games in the boardroom for our youth. Everyone welcome!

Recent Fundraising events a great success!

Our newly created Fundraising task force has outdone itself. First a highly successful bake sale of Christmas goodies contributed by members and then the first ever Bottle drive! Stay tuned for more creative ideas from this enthusiastic group!

We’ll explore the theme of identity by guessing the mystery ingredients in our meal and hearing a story about a giraffe with an identity crisis! We’ll also have yummy desserts from different cultures. Rev. Meg Roberts will be our special guest. Everyone welcome!  

Unitarian Shelter is Open, Nov. 1st to March 31st

The Unitarian Shelter for the homeless is now open through March 31, 2018 For the past nine years, men and women have found overnight respite from the streets, a hot meal, clean clothes and a non-judgemental welcome at the Nanaimo Unitarian Shelter at 595 Townsite Road, Nanaimo, BC.

Roots & Grooves, Sunday, November 5th, 2017, 2:00-4:30pm at the Unitarian Fellowship Rick Scott and Nico Rhodes blur all boundaries. Come celebrate their new CD, ROOTS & GROOVES in a concert combining piano, dulcimer and vocals with improvisation, mastery and mischief. Tickets $15.00 at the door. See you there!
