Growing Down

  • December 24, 2017
  • at 11:00 am
  • Presented by: Leah Hokanson and members of our beloved choir, the Fabulous FUFONICS
  • Psychologist and author, James Hillman, writes: “until the culture recognizes the legitimacy of growing down, each person in the culture struggles blindly to make sense of the darkness that the soul requires to deepen into life.” What does it mean to grow down? How do we help one another connect more intimately with our soul’s desire to deepen into life? In this Christmas Eve service we will explore — through poetry, music, and meditation — the still and ever present space between darkness and rebirth, and ways to nurture and nourish growing down.
