These days we hear on the news about systemic injustice. As Unitarians, we believe in promoting justice, equity and compassion in human relations. To do that, we need to really understand what the difference is between equality and equity. When we do, we can find out what forms of equity are needed in our society now.
Rev. Meg Roberts has served congregations in various parts of Canada during the last 22 years: Edmonton, Montreal, Calgary, Comox Valley, and now with Beacon Unitarians in New Westminster and the Tri-Cities area of Metro Vancouver.
She also has done community ministry using interactive theatre techniques with groups who want to deal with challenging social and organizational issues, and find practical solutions. She is glad to be back as a Sunday service guest minister at UFON.
