Anti-racism Work as Spiritual Practice

Summer 2020 was a moment of racial reckoning. However, with those months of intense activism behind us, those committed to social justice must ask “What do we do now?”. As Unitarians committed to this struggle, it is important that we continue to engage and support anti-racism work through spiritual practice. 

Donovan Hayden

Donovan Hayden is a Black activist, storyteller, and artist. He recently finished a MA in Theatre & Performance Studies at York University in Toronto.

Donovan has had the opportunity to engage with Unitarians and anti-racism work in both Canada and the US. He blends activism and art for the goal of Black liberation and the dismantling of white supremacy.
