Samhain

While many know October 31 as Hallowe’en, this date is also known as Samhain – a Pagan religious festival originating from an ancient Celtic spiritual tradition. Arran will introduce Samhain and a Celtic perspective on the Four Directions, exploring the gifts the directions can offer to sustain us through the winter.

You’re encouraged to dress in costume!

Arran Morton currently lives in Victoria, BC – though he is from Scotland and came to Victoria the ‘scenic route’. He loves to be near the ocean, the trees, and (Vancouver) island life generally. His work has focused on love-based community building as well as training and facilitation on issues related to healthy relationships, sexuality, conflict resolution and restorative justice/practices. Arran was the Director of Spiritual Exploration at First Unitarian Church of Victoria until he adopted his child in 2021. He is currently the Minister at Comox Valley Unitarian Fellowship.  He is wrapping up his final classes at Cherry Hill Seminary (Pagan) and planning ordination in the Spring.
