The experts tell us that a successful relationship requires good communication skills. So simple! So challenging! Healthy relationships require a foundation of commitment, respect and trust. Good communication skills require us to be generous listeners, to stay in the conversation when we get uncomfortable and to share our vulnerability. Whether we are deepening into anti-racism work or deepening into a personal relationship, these are the skills to practice.
