Our very own Marla Thorburn, newly appointed Unitarian Shelter Interim Executive Director, and Shelter Coordinator Kevan Griffith recently appeared before the Nanaimo City Council to apply for urgently needed funding for the continued operation of our shelter in the coming winter.
