We are so glad you found us! You are warmly welcome at First Unitarian Fellowship of Nanaimo. 

Our Sunday Services engage your heart, mind and spirit. They reflect on ways of finding meaning, speak to our human struggles,  and celebrate life’s joys. 

When you arrive at our Fellowship,  free parking is available on-site. You’ll find our main entrance on Townsite Road. 

Our sanctuary and gender neutral single-stall washrooms are accessible to those with mobility aids. Washrooms also include diaper changing stations and stools for little ones. 

Childcare is available for children ages six months and up from September through June,  and caregivers may  choose to stay with their little ones while listening to the service in the children’s space, or feel free to leave children with trained and background checked adults in a safe environment. Kids are also always welcome to remain in the sanctuary with their grown ups, and we have fidgets available for anyone who finds it easier to sit still with busy hands. Our quiet library is ideal for anyone who needs a moment of space.  

Dress is generally casual, and services are live captioned on a screen at the front of the sanctuary for those with hearing impairments. You’ll find friendly faces and can always ask our greeters for help finding a seat,  but we will never pressure visitors to contribute financially or introduce themselves publicly.
