For thousands of years the Snuneymuxw peoples have walked gently and courageously on their traditional territories where we now live, work, worship, and play. We seek a new relationship with the first peoples, one based in honour and respect and we thank them for their hospitality.  As Unitarians, we are committed to the journey of reconciliation, listening, learning and to putting into practice the principles set forth in the  United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. ~ Rev Debra Thorne – Sept 30, 2022
