IMPORTANT NOTICE

In response to the COVID-19 virus outbreak, FUFON’s Sunday Services and the Children’s Program will be suspended until BC’s Chief Health Officer confirms that the virus has been contained and public meetings can resume.

However, we are making the Sunday Services available via ZOOM technology in REAL time. A modified service will be held each Sunday starting at 11a.m. Members and friends can join the service through the Zoom link found under the service description in the Weekly Update circulated each week by email. 

Key parts of most services will also be recorded and available a few days after each service. Check under Past Services found under the Sunday Services tab.

First Unitarian Fellowship of Nanaimo is a growing congregation on Vancouver Island. Based in the City of Nanaimo, we serve mid-island communities from Qualicum to Chemainus.

Our Unitarian Universalist Principles and Sources enable us to balance reason and belief, intellect and intuition. We  share a commitment to spiritual and ethical values.

Are You New?

Are you new to our area and looking for a community of like minded friendly people? Perhaps you have heard about our Unitarian Shelter for the homeless and wish to be part of a faith community that is concerned with social justice. Maybe you are looking for a program for your children that will support you in helping them to be compassionate concerned, aware people. Or, perhaps you need a place where you can nurture your own spirits in the midst of a busy life. If you like music and singing, you are welcome to join our choir, the Fabulous Fufonics.

We Welcome You!

Our Sunday services start at 11:00 am and last about an hour. The topics vary from week to week providing year long interest.
